Our Founder / CEO
Jimmy Foster is the vision behind United Logistics Solutions. It all began in the fall of 2016 when Jimmy embarked on creating a full-service, client-focused consulting company providing custom-tailored trucking solutions. He envisioned a company based on principles of integrity, excellence and collaboration that would serve his colleagues in the logistics industry. Having spent the previous 20 years developing pricing models for some of the largest motor carriers in the United States, Jimmy was already a recognized innovator. Jimmy serves on the board and is involved in several non-profit organizations, including River Valley Church, One Focus Network and Colere Capital. He is also a devoted husband and father of six.
Our Story
2016 - A container drayage and domestic trucking consulting firm with a difference.
United Logistics Solutions (ULS) was founded in 2016 as a result of the simple observation that shippers, freight forwarders, NVOCC’s and private equity firms need specialists to help them manage container drayage and domestic transportation. The purpose of the company was (and remains to this day) to deliver compelling economic returns and service to our clients and our partners. To achieve this, Founder and President Jimmy Foster invested in building a results-driven consulting firm underpinned with a culture and set of values clients can trust. Those values are: character, service excellence, personal growth, accountability and teamwork.

We typically engage with executives and their teams across operational and logistics functions to drive out inefficiencies, while reducing overall cost and improving efficiency for transportation services. Our specific focus is in the area of container drayage, domestic transportation and warehousing.
